The club held their 2009 AGM in the Farnham Arms Hotel last Saturday night January 10.It was a well attended meeting with a good mixture of young and old in attendance. The outgoing Chairman Aidan Elliott who had been six years in the position during which the club won five Senior League and Championship doubles did not seek re-election.The in-coming Chairman is Johnny O'Hanlon who had served as Vice-Chairman for the last two years.
There is also a new Secretary as Stephen Maguire intimated that he wasn't seeking re-election. The new Secretary is Paddy Murray.
We wish both Johnny and Paddy well in their new positions.
Jimmy Sheridan who was joint secretary of the Gaels in their first year of existence is the new club president.
